Recently on “Everyday Leadership” Dan discussed the recent release of the Fortune 100 list. What Michigan companies are new to the list, and what companies are returning.
Michael Burchell Vice President for Global Business Development and Nate Butki consultant with The Great Place to Work Institute were on to discuss each company on the Fortune 100 list. How did they get there? What qualities they share, and leadership skills they possess.
One company that did make the list is Plante & Moran. CPA Firm Managing Partner Gordon Krate was on the show to talk with Dan on Plante & Moran’s place on the Fortune 100 list. Krate has more than 30 years experience working in client service, growth and risk management and strategic direction for the firm.
“Everyday Leadership” covered how firms like Plant & Moran lead their employees and stay on their toes in this changing economy.
My answer would have been……..They all have Boards comprised of all Caucasian Males. I’m just saying.
I would love to have this answer be wrong because if you are among the “100 Best to Work For” I would hope it starts with a blend of representation on your policy setting Boards. Can you verify the make-up of their Boards? TH
