Recently on “Everyday Leadership”:Men and Women Working and Buying

Recently on “Everyday Leadership” Dan talked about the different ways men and women work and how they consume. Consider the fact the women make up just over 50% of the U.S. population, and make over 80% of consumer decisions. Dan will have different experts on to discuss why this is, and the differences and similarities between the genders.

Lars Perner a Professor of Clinical Marketing at the University of Southern California was on to talk to Dan about consumer behavior and the psychology of marketing. Perner will discuss how the study of consumers helps firms and organizations improve their marketing strategies by understanding why or how they select products.

Dan also talked with Roger Martin from Martin Waymire Advocacy Communications on the proposed 2012 state budget. Governor Synder made the budget announcement February 17th, and garnered sure a lot of attention with the proposed spending cuts.
